Favorite Bicycle - The one I am currently riding!

Favorite Sea Otter Memory: riding the Mountain Bike Fondo with my 11 year old son and experiencing a hail storm as we rode along the Skyline Road ridge!

Jeff comes to the Foundation as a life-long cyclist and a professional career focused on community outreach in the recycling industry including work in the private, public and non-profit sectors. Jeff has experienced the Sea Otter Classic as a volunteer, a competitor, a parent whose kids are racing, a rider in the road and mountain bike fondos, and as the Ride Zone coordinator. As a kid, Jeff dreamed of riding his bike across the United States. In 1984, with a group of 50 cyclists raising money for Oxfam America he spent two months living that dream. Along the way he met Melissa who has been riding with him ever since and were later joined by their two boys. Jeff has served on the NorCal High School Cycling League Board of Directors, and the Transportation Agency for Monterey County Bicycle and Pedestrian Committee.
