e-Bikes for Monterey County Veterans

Since 2020, we have been raising funds to supply e-Bikes to the Veterans Transition Center of Monterey County to help the veterans they serve transition from crisis to self-sufficiency. To date, we have donated 8 e-Bikes and counting. These bikes provide a personally empowering and independent form of transportation for veterans truly in need. From the amputee who never thought he would ride a bike again, to the vet now commuting to his job on an e-Bike, the impact these bikes are making are truly transformative! At the present time, we are only able to provide e-Bikes to the Veterans Transition Center for their use.

About the Veterans Transition Center of Monterey County

The mission of VTC is “to empower Veterans to transition from crisis to self-sufficiency.” Since 1996, this 501c3 non-profit has operated on the old Fort Ord complex to provide homeless Veterans and their families with food, clothing, case management, life skills, substance abuse counseling, benefit enrollment, medical referrals, employment training, and housing.
