The Life Time Sea Otter Classic – recognized as the world’s largest and most celebrated cycling festival – is set to return to the beautiful Laguna Seca Recreation Area in Monterey, California, April 15–18, 2027.
Each year, more than 1,100 dedicated volunteers from a variety of local organizations generously lend their time and energy to support this incredible event. The Sea Otter Classic Foundation awards financial grants to these organizations as a token of appreciation for their volunteer hours and valuable contributions.

WHAT WE DO
What We Do
Sea Otter Classic Foundation connects people and organizations through cycling, sports, recreation, and volunteerism. Through education, community partnerships, charitable support, and volunteer opportunities, we help people participate, contribute, and connect.

In 2026, 55 nonprofit, military, and community groups from throughout Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties provided volunteers to support the Life Time Sea Otter Classic. In turn, the Sea Otter Classic Foundation awarded nearly $105,000 in financial grants to these valued partners in recognition of their support.
